Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Sign up with your name, email and workspace URL. You get 14 days on the Professional tier — every module unlocked. If you don't add a plan by day 15, your workspace is paused, not deleted. You have 30 days to come back.
How long does setup actually take?
Most new customers run their first rostered shift the same day they sign up. A full go-live — all sites, all workers, payroll connector wired in — typically takes 3–7 working days for a 50–200 worker operation. No implementation consultants, no six-week programme.
Is ShiftHub suitable for non-security businesses?
Yes. The rostering, clock-in, forms, payroll-export and client-portal features are industry-neutral. Security modules (firearms, K9, armoury) are opt-in. Contract cleaning, facilities, events and any site-based contract staffing business will be at home.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export everything to CSV from the billing page at any time — including during trial. We hold backups for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then delete. See our POPIA policy.
